I have been a Windows user ever since I learned to use a computer. Up to now, I still am, because of my work. But ever since the Intel-based Macs came out, I’ve been dreaming of getting one. I frequent the Apple website to read updates. I read a lot of blogs and articles about its pros and cons, how it is compared to a windows PC, and pretty much everything else about the Mac. What I like most about the Mac is that it is not Windows, it rarely crashes, it just works.

From the iMac to the Macbook to the Mac Mini, at one point in time, I did want to have any of them. Macbook Pro and Macbook were not included because of budget constraints. LOL.

But right now, I don’t have the cash to buy one. Not even for a Mac mini. Yup, you could say I’m a little bit broke. Or i just don’t have enough cash. That’s why I started blogging so I could save for a Mac. Hopefully, I could make decent money online so that I could make the switch. In this blog, I will be blogging about mostly Apple stuff (Mac, iPhone, iPod, etc.) and of course, how I’m gonna save money to get my Mac.

Well you could say that mac isn’t really worth its money, I was just like you very interested in the possibilities Apple promised with its Macs and so I bought a Macbook 2,4Ghz. It is different from windows, this is the beautiful part. People need change once in a while but from all things Apple promises. Almost nothing is true, The first months I even had more bugs and indeed critical bugs with my Macbook then I had ever had with windows XP/Vista machines. There was a java error that disabled me to develop java applications and use my limewire. There have been a lot of crashing applications without any warning, they just disappeared in the middle of a task. To fix issues you need to buy an external harddisk and enable time machine. So keep this cost in mind as well. All and all to make a mac useful you need a mac off course +-1.100$ + External HD 90$ + Windows on bootcamp 100$ + a decent keyboard with all keys 30$ + office for mac 140$ = 1.460$
